This report present the GSI QA system, a system of searching answers or QuestionAnswering. The system’s aim is to understand user questions, search for that information,
retrieve it, extract it and present it. All in natural language. This has been achieved by
using tools of natural language processing (NLP) an algorithms of Pattern Learning. The
information which the system works may come from plain text ﬁles, PDF ﬁles or HTML
ﬁles. The system is focus on the ﬁeld of deﬁnitions or explanations of a concept through
its properties or qualities. In addition, the system has been integrated into a system of
evaluation of knowledge in a project focused on people who have certain disabilities.
