Since web development is not still a mature area, the proliferation of frameworks and components has both increased the required skills of web engineers, and has affected considerably their productivity. For that reason, the evolution of existing Java based web applications is a very hard and time-consuming task. ROMULUS project has researched on domain driven design for web application development on Java by means of an open source metaframework. A web metaframework is an abstract layer that collects the main aspects of current web frameworks, such as persistence, security, web flow or authentication.", address = "Madrid, Spain", booktitle = "14th European Conference on Software Maintenance and Reengineering (CSMR)", doi = "http://doi.ieeecomputersociety.org/10.1109/CSMR.2010.30", isbn = "978-1-61284-369-8", issn = "1534-5351", keywords = "web development, java, roma, romulus", month = "March", pages = "186-189", publisher = "IEEE Computer Society", title = "{ROMULUS}: {D}omain {D}riven {D}esign and {M}ashup {O}riented {D}evelopment based on {O}pen {S}ource {J}ava {M}etaframework for {P}ragmatic, {R}eliable and {S}ecure {W}eb {D}evelopment", url = "http://gsi.dit.upm.es/administrator/components/com_jresearch/files/publications/20100124_180809.pdf", year = "2010", }
